Pharmacy Technician

Students will become well-versed in business communications and learn what it means to be a productive and reliable employee. They will study federal and state statutes, medical terms and abbreviations as well as dosage forms and pharmaceutical calculations. They will be prepared for infection control and its fundamentals as well as customer service. Our Job Placement Department will provide the needed guidance for students to then complete a four-week internship in a pharmacy.

Program Requirements:

• Must be between 18 – 21 years old
• Must be IEP diploma bound & VESID eligible
• Must be work ready
• Must have good communication and verbal skills and writing ability
