Hotel Operations
Students who participate in the Hotel Operations Program will attain and
develop skills needed to obtain positions in housekeeping, maintenance,
security or as hosts/hostesses. They will be prepared for difficult situations
and learn the appropriate way to speak with guests, supervisors and
coworkers. Students will expand on their interviewing skills and build
communications skills for departmental relationships. We show students
how to become dependable employees and the importance of the
housekeeping, security and engineering departments as they relate to the
hotel industry. Our Job Placement Department will provide the needed
guidance for students to then complete a four-week internship in a hotel.
